Development has one ultimate aim: to cease to exist.

On the day when we can say that every single person who contributed to a free Libya is back in society running a business, raising a family and contributing to a stable and secure country, then we will know our mission has succeeded.

The Libyan Programme for Reintegration and Development (LPRD) was established with one clear objective: to reintegrate the combatants and people who fought for a free Libya back into society, transforming their lives through a programme of reconciliation into a new rebuilt country.

It is led by General Manager , a graduate of Utah State University and the LSE. He was Deputy Minister of the Interior in Libya’s Transitional Government and the Founding Director of the Warriors Affairs Commission since October 2011.
