The World Bank Group recognises the LPRD (formerly the Warriors Affairs Commission) as a vital institution doing important reintegration and re-employment work to help former combatants and Libya’s economic future. In its report ”Labor Market Dynamics in Libya: Reintegration for recovery” it concludes that the LPRD has made very good progress despite Libya’s challenges, and has the ability and infrastructure to scale up and expand its programmes once the current situation allows.
